03/06/2026: Excellent food, love the local brew, outstanding service, decor is fun in a historical restaurant, and local families were here tonight so you know it’s a good place to spend your evening. Special thanks to the waiter who gave us quick service and was very friendly.

But now I've ordered from Jais Madhus more than ten times, and it's been just as delicious every time. Most recently I ordered their panang curry with tofu – very spicy – ​​and wait, how good was it. Perfectly balanced, rich and flavorful, and the spice was just right in the cupboard. The tofu was delicious and took the flavor really well. The quality is consistently high, the food tastes authentic, and you can clearly feel the love and care behind the dishes. Jais Madhus is without a doubt one of my go-to places in Copenhagen when I want really good Thai food. Highly recommended!

07/06/2026: For the second time in a few months, I have experienced that Sunset Hillerød fails to deliver the food that you have ordered and paid for in their Drive-In. It is really annoying to come home with food for 4 people, only to discover that both a burger and dip are missing. This makes you choose not to go to your Drive-In in the future and instead use one of your nearby competitors, so you are sure to get what you have bought and ordered.

15/06/2025: It was our first experience in Denmark, and we couldn't have wished for a better start. The place has a fantastic concept that we can highly recommend to anyone who appreciates genuine atmosphere and musical charm. It felt like stepping back 30 years in time – when you were still allowed to smoke indoors, and the atmosphere was intimate and authentic. We were pleasantly surprised by Signe (we hope we remember her name correctly), who dedicated a song to us – a really nice and personal gesture. The pianist and the other singers also delivered a strong and atmospheric performance. We were there on Wednesday – and we came back on Friday, it was that good! We felt very welcome and almost like regulars, even though we were the only tourists. We will definitely come back one day when we are back in Denmark.

17/08/2025: Super god betjening, god mad og hyggelige omgivelser … Men det er ikke ok at skive i menukortet at en Ribeye er på 600 gram når de 150 er ben. Man serverer ikke Ribeye med ben og man tager slet ikke betaling for det. Det er selvfølgelig på Bakken så et eller andet element af turistfælde må iberegnes.

The new owners took over the place on April 1, 2026, and you can really feel that new life and lots of energy have come into the business. ​Here's why you should stop by: ​Authentic taste: The pizzas are baked in a real stone oven, which gives the perfect, crispy bottom and that unique taste that you only find at the best pizzerias. ​Fantastic service: It's a family-owned restaurant with a father and his three sons behind the counter. They are incredibly sweet, welcoming and provide top service that makes you feel very welcome. ​New forces: Even though they are new owners, they have complete control over the craft. It is clear that they care about the quality of their ingredients. ​It has definitely become my new go-to place in Emdrup. If you're in the area and want a pizza in a class of its own, don't miss out on a visit to Esperia! ​Definitely 5 stars from here! 🍕🔥

05/04/2026: Without a doubt the most shawarma-filled durum I've ever had in Copenhagen! Stop there was a lot of meat in it! In addition, I was allowed to take a free soda with me from the sweet employees. Mega cool experience, highly recommended. My go-to from now on!

17/10/2025: If you want to watch football and drink really good beer at the same time, you should go to Ørsted! Really good atmosphere, and if you come early enough, you can sit on a sofa or armchair when the game starts. I have been coming here for many years, and I have always been satisfied. They have a wide beer selection and you can taste before you buy. Very nice bartenders.
