19/08/2025: We stumbled upon “Café Apropos” on the evening of the 18th — the grand finale of our 8-day Danish road trip. And I do mean stumbled: it was 9:30 PM, we were running late, and desperately hunting for something to feed the kid. The place looked stylish and vaguely Parisian, so we thought, “Why not?” Well… the confusion began with the menu and only got worse from there. If this was meant to be a Parisian bistro, someone forgot to tell the kitchen. The kids’ chicken? Marinated in a spicy sauce — because nothing says “child-friendly” like a surprise kick of heat. Once we realized that, we swapped it for a delightfully thin hamburger tucked inside a hollow bun. Gourmet minimalism, perhaps? Meanwhile, the “tapas plate” featured jalapeños, tortilla sauce, and a few mystery items that defied identification. And the “Parisian steak”? Oh dear. It was a dry hamburger (dear “chef,” ever heard of beef fillet?) perched on a slice of yesterday’s bread, surrounded by random vegetables that added nothing but confusion — and later, stomach drama I won’t detail here out of mercy. The one bright spot? Our waitress. Cheerful, friendly, and just as baffled as we were when the kitchen insisted, “Yes, the baby chicken is marinated in spicy sauce — but just a little spicy!” Final verdict: charming decor, baffling food, and a culinary identity crisis (yes, including pasta with chicken). Proceed with caution — or better yet, don’t.

29/08/2026: We are so glad we discovered this restaurant. The pizza here is exceptional, and even though we were there with a baby, the staff were very friendly and accommodating.

24/08/2026: Exceptionally good food - especially the Pizza. The Duck Confit pizza is an experience - but all the ones we had were quite good. Staff was less than attentive and the price was high. We paid 1200kr for three pizzas, one beer and two glasses of wine. But I would come back for that food!

25/07/2026: Attentive, quick service, and tasty Indian food for a Friday evening , what more could you hope for? Staff were also super kind and generous with a smile, and the experience was actually pretty authentic, right down to the copper water canisters. Great place for a laidback meal or to impress your party.

31/01/2026: Nice decor, and actually excellent food. I didn't think the taste and price were related. But that's also a very subjective assessment. However, I'm not so good at places with hipster/normcore types who squat down to explain the concept and lecture me that I can't expect the same menu in real life as on the internet. You should probably complain more about your own sloppiness. He's also so rude to claim that they don't have time to change the menu on the internet from time to time when the ingredients change!!??u? Then you shouldn't slap a menu on the website. I also ask for two quick glasses of bubbles to start, and the waiter won't give me that until she brings me the card. I say that she can just choose herself...but still, it's up for discussion, and I have to accept her decision. My problem with the place is that it exudes quality and good knowledge of Japanese food culture. But it is run by a reasonably smart guy who is unfortunately a lot too smug in his attitude towards my girlfriend and I. 3000kr for that experience is too expensive. I would have been better off with cheaper prices for that level of service.

10/05/2026: Great food! We visited Miki’s Pizzeria and ordered both pizza and sandwich – both were top notch. The pizza had a crispy crust and fresh ingredients, and the sandwich was really delicious with lots of filling and fresh vegetables. The service was friendly and fast, and the prices are very reasonable. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

04/07/2026: The worst piece of crap I have ever had, ordered a delicious pizza in the picture but got the worst piece of crap that was nowhere near the picture but they refused to refund NEVER ORDER FROM HERE!!!

30/08/2026: I came across this place while looking for a bistro on the way... Nice surprise. Large selection of typical Danish sandwiches - salmon, shrimp, roast beef. I recommend it.

06/08/2026: Hekt incredibly good Smørrebrød, have just driven past many times but finally had time to stop and go in and taste the good Smørrebrød Got a roast beef one with potatoes and a pork roast sandwich Hope the time passes next time I pass

27/07/2026: Love going there... But here in July the staff seems pretty tired from their jobs. The food is just a little above average. But the beers are cold, the selection of schnapps is great, so summer is a little more pleasant in Tivoli's ditch.

08/08/2026: Do not come here. No vayan. The Restaurant was completely empty,just one table seated, wanted to eat with my child. I entered and ask if the kitchen was open she said yes and when i entered with my stroller (the yoyo, one that you can take inside a plane as you make it small) and she with really rude manners, deny us the entry .

06/08/2026: A very good restaurant that offers Rødspættefilet (breaded plaice with fried batter, served with a parsley-infused béchamel sauce and excellent potatoes) on its menu. 👍 It has a pleasant terrace overlooking the canal and equipped with an awning. The service is quick and efficient. The portions are generous. With my hearty appetite, I definitely got my money's worth. Moreover, the prices are quite reasonable. I recommend it.

20/08/2026: We arrived to sit down, and the owner made absolutely no effort to explain what meatless options he had. It was like we were bothering him... There was only one table for three, but a woman sitting alone had just sat down. He didn't lift a finger to ask her to move to another table. So we left. Honestly, the service was pathetic. We went across the street, and we have absolutely no regrets!
