17/01/2026: This café, located right at the entrance to King's Gardens (Kongens Have), is easily missed, but its location is truly strategic. It's an excellent stop if you've been on a long walk, especially in winter, and need a hot coffee to recharge. The space is quite small, so it's worth noting that ordering to go might be the best option. Even so, its location and convenience make it very convenient, and it's nice to find a place like this right at the entrance to one of the city's most iconic gardens.

06/05/2026: Nice hidden gem. Surrounding area is nothing special but the restaurant was nice with a cozy atmosphere. Steak was cooked just right and was very tasty. Would come here again. Big open space outdoor

14/12/2025: Internet and TV didn’t work, and workers downstairs worked with hammers and drills until 6pm - and again from 8am. Not a very relaxing stay. Would not recommend. Nice views don’t make up for the rest.

16/08/2025: Got a table on the terrace and a super nice waiter! Ate tartar, guinea fowl and fish of the day. Plus for the delicious bread that we got refills. Large selection of white and red Burgundies! Thanks Nadja(?) for the super service! A bit small menu, otherwise we would have definitely come back during our stay..

30/12/2025: I tried three different kinds of their kebab today: chicken, minced beef, and lamb with bulgur. It was the worst kebab I have ever had. The lamb and chicken were extremely low quality and tasted like they had been sitting in the fridge for days. The bulgur was awful, as if it had been cooked days ago and simply reheated today. Only the minced beef kebab was OK. This was my first and absolutely last time going there. I strongly recommend that no one goes there. It is not worth trying even once.

01/12/2025: Systematized durum (kebab) review. 21 points total. Durum cost 59 kr (lunch offer). The bread (0-3 points): 2 points (the bread is homemade but it was not freshly baked. The bread is made from pizza dough, and is therefore quite thick - too thick in my opinion. If the bread had been freshly baked, thinner and a little burnt, it would have received 3 points) The salad (cucumber, tomato, lettuce and onion), 0-2 points: 2 points (good, even distribution) Some free extras (e.g. red cabbage, hummus, taboula), 0-1 point: 1 point (pickled red cabbage) The meat (0-5 points): 3.5 points (the meat is nicely seasoned and grilled. The meat is of good quality. However, the meat was a bit too dry for my taste, which is probably because the meat was not freshly trimmed. There was also too little of it, see picture 2). The chili (0-2 points): 2 points (really good flavor, nice strength) The dressing (0-2 points): 1 point (standard light creme fraiche. There should have been a little more of it. The bread is very thick and there should therefore be a little extra dressing to compensate for the dryness) The quantity / how full you were (0-2 points): 2 points (nice fullness) Service (0-1 point): 1 point (fast service, friendly staff) The price (0-3 points, where 3 points are 30-40 kr., 2.5 points are 40-50 kr., 2 points are 50-60 kr., 1.5 points are 60-70 kr., 1 point is over 70 kr.): 1.5 points 15/21 points = 3.6 stars —> rounds up to 4 stars out of 5.

09/06/2026: I have been to Rebel before, which was a nice experience with okay food. However, when both my daughter and I had a 39 fever at our last reservation, we had to cancel and ask as a last resort to have it moved, since we had paid in advance. I had the pleasure of an owner or employee on the phone who taught me about respect and terms. After a round of “adult scolding” I was allowed to move my reservation - which I was of course happy about. It turns out today that the voucher has been revoked and I do not have a reservation. They did not answer their phone either today or the first 10 times I called for a previous reservation. I have never written a review before, but I am making an exception today. Completely lousy service, humanity, behavior and way of running a business.

But are you crazy they scam with their pictures compared to what you actually receive😂 You see a picture with two taquitos, but you only receive one. You should probably write that more clearly. And the fries are really a crazy difference... Borderline false marketing

29/04/2026: The food is good but there aren't really that many vegetarian options. There is 1 and it's falafel, so if you can't stand chickpeas you're a bit out of luck. However, they seem to allow you to be a bit creative, but it still costs extra. They could have fresh mozzarella or something like that. The service is top notch and they are both fast and friendly. It's not a place I would choose to sit and eat my food. So better just take it with you.

28/08/2025: Very tasty pastries, and they have vegan options. It would be great if they added fresh juices.

25/10/2025: Really cozy and lovely restaurant. With many lovely Asian dishes, as well as a very nice and large selection of sushi.

06/10/2025: Great food, great atmosphere, great service. There is a bar just nearby. But the restaurant itself also serves various beers! I come here alone but are full of joys when going back.
