06/08/2026: Lovely and big ice creams. It is fairly easy to park close to the ice cream parlor. The beach is also lovely and the water is shallow, so it is ideal if you have children with you.

However, time and again, I found myself leaving other spots with a slight sense of something missing—be it the structural integrity of the crust, the quality of the condiments, or the all-important balance of texture. Da Basso, however, is the real deal—a true destination for the buongustai (discerning palates) among us. I recently brought a group of Danish colleagues here; they arrived with the typical skepticism of those who think they’ve tried it all, but after just one bite, they pledged their undying loyalty. That is the power of pizza that speaks its own delicious language. The base achieves that elusive alchemy: thin enough to be crisp and structurally sound, yet pliable and light. The cornicione (the crust) is a study in contrast—airy and cloud-like within, blistered and wonderfully crunchy on the exterior, bearing the hallmark of a masterfully hot oven. The toppings are applied with an abundantly generous hand, ensuring that from the first bite to the last, every mouthful is a complete, harmonious experience. It is a pizza that demands to be eaten in person, fresh from the source, to be truly understood. Simply put, perfection 🥰

17/07/2026: The garlic bread isn't bread. It's just a small pizza. It wasn't bad, and was fairly prized, but the thin crispy crust of pizza isn't what I want when I desire bread. (And if you're gonna make it a pizza anyway then at least cut it)

22/08/2026: We waited 20 minutes for our order to be ready. However, when we went to pick it up, we were told that one of the items we had ordered was not available. If we wanted to choose something else instead, we would have to wait another 20 minutes for it to be made. When I tried to explain the situation to the employee at the checkout, she seemed annoyed that I was unhappy. She clearly showed that she did not care about my reaction and she completely ignored me instead of trying to understand the situation or help us. They could have told us from the start that they did not have it, then we would have ordered something else. They really lack experience in customer service and dealing with such a situation. We left very annoyed and disappointed, even though we had actually come to the cafe to enjoy ourselves and have a good experience.

24/08/2026: Atmosphere: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Service: ⭐⭐⭐ Price / Value: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ We came to the Old Irish Pub in Copenhagen several times after seeing how lively it was from outside and we definitely didn’t regret it. Great atmosphere with plenty of space across the different areas and music playing upstairs and downstairs. It does get very busy, especially downstairs where it can become cramped, sweaty and difficult to move around. Prices were reasonable for Copenhagen and there was always plenty going on. One of the funniest moments was seeing an older man dancing on the tables while everyone around him loved it. He looked like a local and clearly knew how to enjoy himself! The only thing I’d improve is the Guinness. The pouring was inconsistent between visits and it would be nice to see a more consistent pint each time. Overall, a really fun pub for a lively night out with a great atmosphere. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re looking for somewhere busy and energetic. Would recommend: ✅ Will be back: ✅

20/06/2026: We were welcomed by an incredibly pleasant and knowledgeable young person upon arriving. They were very polite and explained everything about the menu. The food was delicious, especially the danish chicken dish we both chose. We will hopefully return some day. John (Ireland).

16/06/2026: Fine Greek food revisited in the concept of elegant taste and simplicity. Kalamari kadaifi is topping the list of must haves next time I’m there.

04/08/2026: Sweet and polite service. The food was really delicious! I bought both a durum kebab mix and a durum with lamb. Durum kebab mix on the left hand. The taste was really good! But the one with lamb tasted best. The amount of salad was low, but there was lightly pickled red cabbage, which went well with their onions. There was a fairly mild chili. 🌶️ I, an adult man, was full, and my friend couldn't eat all of hers. So at least you were full.

05/09/2026: Really let down by this place. Ordered Fish Curry, Butter Chicken and Chicken Tikka Masala. All the dishes were poorly seasoned, oily, the way too salty and served late. Plus the portion was just like kids portion, very small portion. For the price, the quality was unacceptable. Management should look into kitchen standards. I won’t come back to this place and a suggestion for the people who think to try, just learn from my experience and save your money and time, Not recommended 👎👎👎

31/07/2026: I ordered 4 pizzas at Deli Casa Pizzaria and asked for dressing for my pizza. When I got the pizzas, I could immediately see that there was no dressing on them. So I quietly asked why it was missing, and only then was I told that the dressing cost 10 kr. extra. This was never stated when I ordered. If there is an additional cost, the customer should of course be told in advance, not afterwards. It's not about the 10 kr. I would have paid it without any problems if I had just been informed from the start. What ruined the whole experience was the way I was treated. The employee was really unpleasant, disrespectful and shouted at me as if I was stupid, just for asking a completely normal question. That's not how you treat your customers. I will never go back, and unfortunately I cannot recommend the place to others. There are plenty of pizzerias where you are greeted with good service, honest communication and basic respect, I certainly did not experience that here.

30/08/2026: Ordered lunch pizza with my girlfriend, hers was very undercooked (had raw dough in the crust), wrote to their “customer service” and haven’t heard anything for 5 days. Update: After their response, I wrote to them again the next day, with exact dates and email, again nothing heard from them! The conclusion must be that they just don’t care.

05/07/2026: I'm the next door neighbour so I come to Otto often enough. Lately it's been a disaster. Half of the pizza is burnt crust, the ingredients are so unevenly spread and the pizza is not evenly cut. My napoletana had 30 olives on it and 3 small bits of anchovy. It's a bit shameful considering how good they were just a year ago.

15/07/2026: Great place, great sushi and they were there with food and drinks, and for those who don't eat fish they were ready with many other dishes, they were super nice and helpful.
