08/09/2026: One of the best Pizzas I have ever had, the owners/chefs are super sweet greeting & welcoming everyone politey, anyone visiting fields mall I would recommend skip all the mall food counters and walk down here it is just 5-10min walk. On my first visit I asked them to suggest something, and if I remember correctly it was Orestrad special pizza, having shredded beef + mushrooms, when the pizza arrived I was taken away by the size of it and worried if I could even finish it, but it was really delicious that I had it completely, the sauces on top & pizza base are the real standout for me. One second visit asked them again with something different they gave me a shawarma platter, thought the quantity was huge and taste decent, I felt it was little overloaded with fries mostly, was expecting a bread with shawarma platter but it wasn't there, but still a good filling meal.

11/08/2026: Very tasty with fresh ingredients. Amazing pricing and portion size. Very friendly and helpful staff. We tried pizza and salad with feta and olives, both turned out really good although pizza was a little fatty.

06/08/2026: We had a pasta dish and 2 pizzas. They were excellent. It is actually a nice place to eat and the service is fast and polite. Can only be recommended.

29/08/2026: Have had food from here several times and I must tell you they make good Curry and other good Indian cuisine. Always a pleasure to eat at or from Al-Diwan. Great place to bring the family or just a romantic date. 10/10.

16/08/2026: Absolutely Fantastic A complete experience like being in Italy, and at a very reasonable price. Have been here countless times and can only highly recommend this restaurant. The only downside is that you become addicted to their cuisine :-)

24/07/2026: There were other Ethiopian restaurants on the street, but this one called us. The service was great. The spirit of the place was as good as the food which was top shelf. Love Ethiopian and this was one of the better meals I’ve had in memory. We went strictly vegetarian and everything was great.

01/09/2026: Seriously one of the best sandwiches I have ever had! I got the lox and pesto sandwich and it was phenomenal - served on delicious fresh focaccia with lots of crisp and bright lettuces. My boyfriend got the fried chicken sandwich with spicy mayo, and it was similarly fresh and delicious. The case was filled with so many wonderful fresh prepared foods and herbs, and the service was fast even at a busy lunch hour. If you’re looking for a fresh and bright local lunch option, this is the place to go!

31/08/2026: Very small, a bit dingy. Food not as good as normal Halifax quality

30/08/2026: Good burgers and fries as usual, service ok, but not very visible. The place seems a bit worn and dark, greasy tables. Have been to nicer Halifax's.
