A fantastic summer evening, where we got small selected dishes from the chef's heart. I have long had a strained relationship with soulless Italian pasta restaurants, but can only say thank you for showing me the way to the most delicious cuisine.

The tacos were also really good; surprisingly, even the vegetarian one was anything but flat and boring, but rather flavorful and enjoyable. The hibiscus drink, prepared by the staff, was also delicious. Warm and friendly staff, the perfect touch to make a simple solo dinner memorable! Highly recommended. DC

12/08/2026: Welcoming place and helpful staff. The food is good, especially the fish. However, some of the side dishes lack flavor, and the sauces aren't placed on top but at the bottom, making mixing everything a bit more difficult. Excellent, highly recommended.

26/05/2026: Cozy little restaurant at the end of Valby Lang Street, the food is really good and well prepared, as the restaurant is well visited it can be crowded as there is not much space, but that is part of the charm. Definitely a visit.

24/08/2026: The service was bad. Literally, there was only one waiter, and the girl’s attitude was HORRIBLE. She made you feel like you were begging for something rather than simply ordering! She seriously needs better training on how to deal with customers. The food was actually delicious and the decor was quite underwhelming, especially considering the prices aren’t cheap.

17/05/2026: I had a very unpleasant experience at Espresso House in Spinderiet on Sunday, May 17, 2026, around 4 p.m. We experienced clear discrimination in the way guests were treated. While other guests were allowed to remain seated and were greeted in a friendly tone, we, who were dark-skinned, were spoken to in a rude and aggressive manner and asked to immediately leave the outdoor seating area with the message that it was closed. The situation gave us a strong feeling of being treated differently based on our appearance. In addition, my order was also not made correctly, as I specifically asked for oat milk in my coffee, which was ignored. The most disappointing thing is that this experience is in direct contrast to the image and CSR values ​​of respect, inclusion and equal treatment that Espresso House otherwise presents itself with. As a loyal customer for several years, it is very disappointing to experience treatment that made us feel unwelcome and belittled. I hope Espresso House takes such experiences seriously and ensures that all customers are treated with the same respect and dignity regardless of skin color or background.

However, a new owner came in about a year ago (?), but without any notable changes other than the price, which has increased. The other day I was there again and here I saw staff sitting and smoking cigarettes in the back room. I find that extremely disgusting! They simply cannot be familiar with that! I don't want to shop here again, knowing their approach to hygiene! FUCK!
