17/08/2026: I've never eaten so cheaply and so deliciously; the food looked fantastic and tasted amazing. The waitress was very nice, looked great, and the food was delicious. The atmosphere was good. It tasted good and looked good.

04/04/2026: Åben Århus is one of those places you always come back to. The atmosphere is relaxed, the beer is top-notch, and there is a genuine geeky love for good craftsmanship. The selection changes constantly, and you almost always discover something new and exciting on tap. 🍻 It also says something that Lucas Ørskov has practically made the place his second home. He reportedly drinks many jugs in there – and it's not without reason. Lucas brews his own beer and has even won silver at the Danish Home Brewing Championship, so when he approves of the level, you know the quality is high. 🍺🥈 A small practical note at the end: Remember to bring your own mug. It's part of the charm – and then you're ready for another good round.

31/07/2026: I don't know if this counts as a review but I was staying at a hostel that refused to give me hot water for free to make some cup noodles and they wanted to charge me 20 DKK for hot water and then there's this place. I wanted to buy coffee here but my card didn't work for some reason at that moment and a guy here just gave it to me for free saying "relax, it's just a coffee". At that point, I knew exactly what this place was ♥️

11/05/2026: Absolutely nice atmosphere but expensive and small dishes. 110 DK kronor for ONE asparagus with sauce. Good but expensive.

28/07/2026: You eat really well and a brunch is definitely one of the better experiences. The staff is very welcoming, a nice welcome. The fact that I only give four stars for the service is not a matter of dissatisfaction. It is simply because I would like to be able to give the extra star to restaurants where you don't have to go through several rooms with drinks, which are ad libitum, and where you get rid of your used service yourself.

10/07/2026: Cozy, nostalgic, and centrally located in the city center right behind the cathedral. Delicious handmade hamburgers and fish and chips with a twist. Definitely worth a visit! 👍

30/05/2026: small cute coffeshop with nice stuff and lovely big glass vitrine. everything was ok but had to wonder: why to have paper cup while the guest clearly indicated that will drink the hot beverage inside? you don’t have ceramic cups to offer?
