Prices are reasonable.
09/02/2026: Good drinks and music at night! At might seems more bar than restaurant. The only thing I found interesting is that every time we ordered a drink we needed to pay. Overall it is a nice place with food atmosphere.

Forgot to take pictures of all our drinks, but was allowed to take one of our lovely waiter. Who helped make the evening especially fun and he was good at telling about the Gin that was used.

16/07/2025: Had high expectations for the coffee but was disappointed. The cappuccino was watery and tasted almost like milk. We ordered a cake which took 25 minutes to get, even though we went in and asked twice. They had forgotten it after all. No apology or anything like that, just: Well, that was boring.
I won't be going here to drink coffee again.

14/11/2025: Fantastic brunch. It looks really bad in the pictures but it really is great. At one point there was some kind of very loud company party going on in there, so we had to leave again as we are very sensitive to sound. Otherwise it is great.

10/05/2026: It's edible, but not great. The sausage seemed sour. Maybe it's the sausage itself, or maybe it's not fresh anymore, I can't say for sure.
One pizza was enough for two.
What I didn't like: the forks we ate on the table were clearly worn, and it's unclear how long they've been sitting there or how clean they are.

17/04/2026: There is a good old advice 'Never go back to a junk shop'
But since we regularly visit Ballum Slusekro, we have to say that it is EVERYTHING but a junk shop.
You are welcomed by a super friendly staff, the food is heavenly and the waiting time is short.
Definitely recommendable.
Great location, with the Wadden Sea on one side and the marsh on the other.
So if you have not visited the place yet, then you just have to go 😊❤️

16/11/2025: We had our Wedding dinner at Rafaels, they have an awesome private room below. We met with the owner the day before who was great, asked us what we wanted and when we got there had the table set perfectly! All of our guests really loved the food and the drinks. It was a great event for all of us! Highly recommend for any larger events.
19/09/2025: What a wonderful restaurant! Very cozy and typically Italian. We've been everywhere, but this one is our favorite! Thanks for the delicious pizzas!

31/12/2025: Very friendly service, delicious food, great wine recommendations, great way to present the food... we only wish there was a better vegetarian selection. But thank you for always coming up with new ideas for outdoor dining... even in the fall and winter!!
29/12/2025: The cheeseburger was amazing! Absolutely worth the money. It came with delicious crispy fries and a mayonnaise with a subtle hint of garlic. Delicious! Service: top-notch! However: the menu was available in German, but the staff only spoke very good English.

19/10/2025: The highlight of our vacation so far.
The burgers (we tried them all) are incredibly delicious, the café has a great atmosphere, and we felt very comfortable.
