23/08/2025: Good food and plenty of it tasted great

22/08/2025: The food is very tasty and, by Danish standards, reasonably priced. The ambiance is a bit dated, but everything is clean and tidy; in Berlin, you'd call it retro style. Only the service was spotty. The cashier couldn't hide her constant eye roll as the menus grew longer and heavier, and she made no effort to prevent it. She then silently handed over to a colleague in the middle of the ordering process. However, the deal went smoothly with her.

29/03/2026: Nice hotel not far from anything. Stayed there in connection with a concert in Sønderjyllandshallen. The rooms are not new anymore, but the beds are good, and it is quiet at night. A small annoying thing was that the bathroom smelled a bit, and you could see that there was starting mold in the corners of the bathroom ceiling. The breakfast is fantastic, and there is a large selection. The rooms where you eat are also very good, and there is a good atmosphere. Good chairs and tables and a nice indoor climate.

18/03/2026: The only reason for 3 stars in location is that it is difficult to park a large box car and large trailer nearby. Breakfast 9/10 perfect size and nice selection. There may be a little more noise than at others but that is definitely due to the brilliant bar they have in their basement. The beds in the rooms I have slept in are really good, some duvets are better than others 😊. The rooms are nice but the invetar is old.

20/10/2025: Very good cappuccino and flat white. Highly recommended.

20/09/2025: The food tasted fine, as we only got it after waiting 50 minutes and people who came after us got theirs first. Likewise, the coffee was cold that was served after standing on the board and waiting for 10-15 minutes while we could sit and look at it. The quantity was small and generally far too expensive for what you got. But tasted good. Despite everything.

13/05/2026: Went for coffee after a funeral. Nice surroundings, had layer cake and coffee, but unfortunately the coffee was only lukewarm.

11/12/2025: From the moment we first stepped through the door of Stella Maris, we knew we had found the perfect venue for our wedding. The entire venue is breathtakingly beautiful – exclusive in a quiet, understated way – and at the same time imbued with a sense of homeliness and relaxation. A combination that made us immediately feel in safe hands and could see ourselves celebrating our big day right there. One of the biggest reasons for this security was the restaurant manager, Charlotte, who from the first meeting was nothing short of fantastic. She was ready with solutions to everything – and if, contrary to all expectations, she hadn’t answered right away, it wasn’t long before she found one. Her commitment, proactivity and dedication were both touching and reassuring. We never felt like we were just another wedding in a row; Charlotte approached the task with the same zeal, excitement and warmth as ourselves. It made all the difference. And then there was the food, which was absolutely amazing. We knew in advance that the level was high, but we were still blown away once again. The gastronomic level is absolutely top class. We had chosen to give the kitchen almost free rein, with just a few ingredients and preferences mentioned – and they managed to incorporate them in the most elegant and tasty way. The entire team around Stella Maris also deserves great praise. From the chefs, the waiters and to the sweet women at the reception to – yes, even the director who stood behind the bar and shook drinks after the wedding waltz. Everyone was welcoming, professional and full of genuine joy on our behalf. You can feel their pride and professionalism in everything they do. And the warmth and attention they showed both before, during and after the wedding made our day even more memorable. We can only give our warmest recommendation to anyone considering holding their next big party at Stella Maris. It was a party that exceeded our own dreams and expectations – and that both our guests and ourselves still like to remember and talk about happily.🤍

19/10/2025: Absolutely fantastic food! The staff is also simply fantastic to talk to - you can feel the atmosphere of a small grill, and the staff just chat with each other. 👍🏻

03/05/2026: The food is very good. The atmosphere is traditionally Italian. It does close early, but that is the case with all restaurants in Denmark.

20/08/2025: We enjoyed the buffet there last night. I don't understand some of the negative reviews. In comparison, the Italian restaurants in Billund (I've tried both!) are hardly recommendable. One had poor service and small portions, another had cold pizza. This one was perfect for a dinner buffet with a large crowd. The prices are high, but overall, they're not more expensive than the other restaurants. Reservations recommended :)

11/08/2025: Vi var 7 vuxna och 3 små barn och det fanns något som passade alla, till och med den mest kräsna. Verkligen bra anpassat för barnen!

What makes it really special—besides the great beer—is Ulf, the owner. Ulf is without a doubt the sweetest and most genuine guy you'll meet. He has an incredible passion for beer and knows everything there is to know about it. You can tell immediately that he puts his heart into the place. He’s always ready to recommend something that suits your taste, and he does it with a smile every single time. The atmosphere at Knuds Garage is warm, relaxed, and full of personality. It feels like a home away from home—somewhere you can unwind, catch up with friends, or just enjoy a really good beer in peace. The interior has a charming, almost nostalgic feel to it, and there’s just something comforting about being there. The beer selection is excellent. There’s always a solid variety of both local and international options, carefully chosen and well-kept. You can tell that every beer on the menu has been selected with care and knowledge. In short: Knuds Garage is not just a bar—it’s an experience. And Ulf? He’s the kind of owner every bar dreams of having. If you’re into good vibes, great beer, and outstanding service, this is your place. Highly recommended. 🍻

20/04/2026: This is a charmingly furnished house near the Sylt ferry and the fishing harbor. The rooms are clean, and there's a kettle, tea bags, instant coffee, and a small refrigerator. A television is provided. The bathroom has a hairdryer but no vanity mirror. We had a private balcony overlooking the sunrise and access to a large shared terrace. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful. We also ate dinner there, once à la carte and once from the buffet. Both are highly recommended.

15/04/2026: I love the decor, the music, the menu and the service. It's a brasserie that is relevant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Definitely something I will visit again.

03/04/2026: A lovely visit to Olivia Brasserie. We had booked a table which was upgraded to accommodate more people on the day without any problems. When we arrived, the focus was on us and we were served quickly and friendly. The food tasted good and the drinks were good. A really good experience!
