Here you can enjoy good food and cold drinks while you follow life on the water and watch ferries, sailboats and fishing boats come and go. The atmosphere is relaxed and cozy, and the place exudes the maritime charm that makes Fanø so special. The menu offers something for most people, and the ingredients are fresh and tasty. The staff is friendly, accommodating and makes you feel welcome. It is an ideal place to have lunch, a cup of coffee or dinner after a day of adventures on the island. The large terrace overlooking the harbor is the icing on the cake, especially on a warm summer day or at sunset. A place that makes you want to return to every time you visit Fanø.

18/02/2026: We're back after a long time... no difference in quality, just as good as last time. It's technically a snack bar, but despite being self-service, the upscale atmosphere makes it feel like a nice restaurant. We'll definitely be back.

08/07/2026: We had breakfast at this cozy little café in the heart of Svendborg. The food was delicious - especially the homemade jam and granola. And not only can you get gluten-free bread - it is also incredibly crispy and tasty. We also bought a few nice ceramic cups from there. Warmest recommendations from us :-)

10/08/2026: Beautiful location with a cozy terrace and a stunning view, but unfortunately, the service was very disappointing. My pork skewer was served cold. My wife is vegetarian, but it turned out there was no vegetarian main course available. As an alternative, it was suggested that we only eat the side salad and fries. We did not consider that a suitable solution. The menu was exclusively in Danish, and the staff were unwilling to help with it. In the end, we had to translate everything ourselves using Google Translate. Of course, that works, but it doesn't feel very welcoming or service-oriented. Furthermore, after the meal, we had to wait about 15 minutes to pay the bill. The staff walked past several times without responding, after which we eventually walked to the bar ourselves to pay, where we had to wait again. It's a shame, because the location and atmosphere are really beautiful, but due to the mediocre service, we won't be coming back here anytime soon.

11/05/2026: Beautiful restaurant and beautiful surroundings. We were at a family party and the food was well prepared and tasted really good.

26/04/2026: Nice place for funeral coffee. It felt a little strange that the food is portioned on plates, so the waiter removes buns and pretzels along the way and brings an extra one when a new guest appears. We had to figure out ourselves how to take off the layer cakes that were on a table by themselves.

14/07/2026: Super cozy and at very reasonable prices. 179,- for a huge Parisian steak with everything, made me very full. They even asked, quite spontaneously, how the steak should be. Despite the fact that the staff is very young, they were very service-minded and professional. They were relaxed and smiling in their appearance. Definitely worth a visit again.

12/08/2026: We stayed in padborg for two nights before and after our wedding, they remember us from the night before and gave their celebrations as well as gifting us a bottle of champagne to celebrate. The pizza was delicious, the kindness was amazing and I would highly recommend #14 the viking if you’re staying nearby!

14/08/2026: Aroma Restaurant offers good, honest cuisine – the kitchen is open to view from the dining area. It's a lovely place with an authentic atmosphere. They have good wines and very good beer brewed on-site. We really enjoyed the restaurant; we ate there twice, and the seafood linguine was particularly impressive.
