17/07/2026: They forget things on pizzas, they forget pizzas and forget to change money. You have to go back where they try to avoid giving you the money back. Overall it's just a crappy experience

15/07/2026: Ordered for 183 kr got food that tasted of pure salt and the board was completely soaked, they refused to help or cooperate. 0 out of 5 stars would never recommend them to anyone.

16/08/2025: What a mess… In the middle of peak season, 7:40 pm… No more pizza dough… How stupid can you be? We were really looking forward to it and were hungry… Hopefully we can find another open restaurant now, this one is supposed to take orders until 9 pm…

14/08/2025: Self-service (which we'll probably encounter elsewhere too) was easy. Choose your pizza, pay, and they'll call you when your food is ready. The pizza was good.

07/09/2026: It is expensieve, but the food quality is really great. This is the best place to eat in legoland.

27/08/2026: The food was very poor. The soft drinks (the syrup content seemed almost excessive) were terrible. There was no dessert or coffee. For the high price, we as a family definitely cannot recommend it.

16/05/2026: Hosted 2 times you get the wrong thing they need to learn to listen to what you order ordered a cheese burger with bacon and a kibab mix without salad only fries kibab and dressing got salad on hmm and then the portions have become much smaller

06/03/2026: Come by and order a grilled chicken and pay for it right away. Told me I would come and pick it up in 15-20 minutes-also supposed to be in 365. When I came back there was no chicken, and they denied having received money. Unfortunately I had paid by card, but. When the 98 kr goes from my account I will go by the police and report a theft.

13/08/2026: Very very very expensive prices and extremely small amounts of food. I have never experienced waiting so long for so little food. Really a shame. Very small durum and a pizza that a 5 year old can barely get enough of. Practice

29/11/2025: What a terrible organization. The check-in desk simply says you don't need a reservation, so I arrive at 5:30 PM with my happy face and a five-year-old, and of course, everything is full until 8:30 PM. How can you manage to communicate so poorly within one location? Absolutely not customer-friendly. You're standing there for nothing. Disappointing.

05/11/2025: I'm not sure why this restaurant has such bad reviews? I think the food is good quality. I prefer the a la carte menu to the previous buffet format. Unlike Legoland hotel restaurants in other countries, this one appears to cook everything from scratch

02/08/2026: We were a family of 4 and got a snack basket, 2 x steak bearnaise, 1 beef/bacon burger, fish fillet with fries and desserts. The service was friendly. Got a basket of bread and pesto before the main courses, which was nice. It's not like "the old days" but the food was okay. The steaks were a bit small, but well-cooked. The garnish was fried root vegetables and microgreens, which is also more delicious than a peeled tomato and boiled vegetable. The burger was big and good. The fish fillets were unfortunately mushy, and had been left for too long. The bearnaise sauce did not live up to expectations - we don't think it tasted that much of bearnaise and was too thin, but that's a matter of taste. We sat so close to them at the table next to us that you could hear each other's conversation. Random and sloppy deco on the walls, which doesn't really fit together and contributes to a cozy atmosphere. All in all okay/mediocre - but for the price you can find several places in Esbjerg with the same menu and better quality. If they are going to differentiate themselves from the competition, they should probably stick to the old concept of beuf tournedos/English steak with bearnaise that sticks to the fork, grandma greens xl and salad with dressing.

31/07/2026: Unfortunately, I didn't have a particularly good first experience at the new "old" Gjesing Bistro. The service seemed disorganized. The young employee behind the counter seemed very uncertain and didn't have everything under control, which gave a somewhat messy first impression. The food also didn't live up to expectations. I was given a very large portion of peas, far more than you can realistically eat - which felt like unnecessary food waste. At the same time, salad came with the other dishes, without it being clearly stated, so this was not eaten either. I also specifically asked if there was tomato in my dish, as I am allergic. I was told that there was no tomato, but when the food was served, there was still a tomato on top. I chose to peel it myself and take an allergy pill, but that meant that I had to do without capers, lemon and other accessories. I had hoped for at least new accessories without contact with the tomato, but this was not offered. The disappointment is only made worse by the fact that the place has been marketed as being "like the old days". If you have experienced the previous quality, the new version unfortunately does not live up to expectations at all. In my experience, there is a big difference between the promises that are marketed and the experience I had :( All in all, the visit was unfortunately a disappointment. In my opinion, there is room for improvement in terms of service, organization, quality and handling of allergens. I hope the place returns to the level that many remember from before, then I will probably give them another chance, but now there is not much pull in wanting to go back.

10/07/2026: I told my entourage that if we get sick on this trip it's from here. The cutlery is not really clean, everything is sticky and the food was barely edible. Woke up the next morning with a sore throat and the start of a terrible cold. Can't recommend.

08/07/2026: We had made a reservation for a larger group and arrived a little earlier than planned. The welcome was friendly, but we were told that we should find our own seats and push the tables together ourselves. Luckily, we found a place to sit together. Had we arrived at our reserved time, that would probably have been difficult, as the restaurant filled up very quickly. The buffet was okay, but you shouldn't have overly high expectations regarding the selection or quality. There was only one server, who was never seen at our table. Guests cleared and sorted their own dishes, and you also had to get your own drinks. Overall, it's largely a self-service concept. And, as is customary, we cleared the table for the next guests. The playroom, however, was great for the kids!

28/08/2026: 16.08.26 Manager doesn’t care about customer service, buffet food stays still for too long. 1 hr of bowling means 55 minutes. Never come back.

30/07/2026: Incredibly tasty and great value for money, and watch out for ordering a large pizza; the XL is really big but exceptionally delicious.

07/08/2026: I was there at 5pm and it was locked. Got my food after an hour of waiting and when it came it was cold. The salad was rotten. The cheese was green and EVERYTHING just tasted like curry. Will never ever go back in my life and I'm only 20!

30/07/2026: Not a place I want to order from again. I experienced that when I called to order a pizza the connection was not great so I asked to be sure if it was 25 minutes it would take. It was confirmed and I arrived on time. I was turned around and annoyed to be told that it would take another 20 minutes as I had arrived way too early. When I said that I had asked on the phone if it was 25 minutes I was told that I was wrong. I also asked for an ingredient on one of the pizzas. When I got home and opened the pizza there was still what I had asked for. I would definitely not recommend this Pizzaria...

02/08/2026: I ordered a café latte here... what I received was awful. The café owners and staff should really practice making coffee before serving it to customers. No atmosphere at all...
