20/05/2026: Berlin Kreuzberg in Copenhagen. The food was great. You order and pay at the counter, and the food is served. The interior was a bit run-down and smelled strange.

16/05/2026: No service unless you're a girl. When the staff says "I'll help you in a bit" three times but chooses to serve girls instead, it says a lot about the place — especially when it's supposed to be a "nice bar."

27/09/2025: Nothing for the money, might as well have taken it home, without any food :(( poor experience and overpriced

03/08/2025: Dry and boring Durum. Paid 288 for 2 Durum Menus. Insufficient filling. Tasteless. Half-packaged French fries. Bread rubbery. The dish Unsalted. I had to pay 40 kr for extra dressing and chili. - Which were small pots. - Boring, uninspired, expensive.

23/08/2025: So, what the hell is going on at Rene's? The place itself is nice, but the bartender clearly hasn't passed the exam in good service. You really have to look a long time for such POOR service and get such poor and downright condescending treatment. I even witnessed a verbal assault on two girls the bartender didn't think were good enough to play pool. The worst part of the experience was actually that the bartender continued with his rude behavior, as if it was completely normal, without the slightest understanding that he was ruining the atmosphere for all the other guests. It was unpleasant to be there, and I left feeling like I had wasted both time and money.

19/08/2025: One of the few brown pubs that still exist, fortunately. Cozy atmosphere and great service and the food (beers) is cold and fresh from the box. I'm not a smoker but I always smoke at the worst. Thanks René.

12/04/2026: My order arrived completely cold – both the burger and fries were cold upon delivery. Only the chicken nuggets were warm. It honestly seemed like the burger and fries had been sitting around for a long time, while the nuggets were made later and just added to the order. I also live in the neighborhood, so the delivery time cannot be used as an excuse for the food being ice cold upon arrival. After contacting them, I was simply told that the food was made fresh and that they would not offer any kind of compensation. I simply find that unacceptable – especially at the prices you pay.

22/03/2026: We ordered 2 meals as a takeaway. One of them (HOT NASHVILLE BURGER) was extremely oversalted. Unfortunately, we had to throw it away.

07/10/2025: Me and my wife went there recently. My wife Debo asked me personally to write this review. We arrived in the evening when most of the day was pouring with rain. Inside was very cozy and quiet. We ordered the 1-protein bowl, matcha latte, and cappuccino. The food and coffee was good. We really enjoyed the overall experience. Coffee and snacks in rainy evening fits so good. 😍

02/08/2025: I decided to take my girlfriend to this place because she had wanted to for a long time. From the outside, everything is cool, bright, I like it. When we went inside, it was quite dark. There were very few people. We ordered waffles for each person and a latte for each. It took a relatively long time to prepare, but this is understandable - because 2 people are working. They brought us waffles, but the portion was catastrophically small. The girl liked everything except the portion of food, and I - except for coffee and waffles, nothing else, but I also had a catastrophically small portion. The girl may come, but I definitely will not. Therefore, my assessment is this.

23/05/2026: The carpeting in the rooms is a serious hygiene and odor problem; hopefully, it will be replaced soon so the rooms will be more hygienic. Breakfast and location were excellent, and the staff were very kind.

17/05/2026: Our room (423) was meant to be a Double Deluxe but it looked nothing like any of the photographs shown on the hotel website. We arrived late on a Sunday night so I questioned the room the following morning. The man on reception accused me of being aggressive when I said I'd hate to see a standard room if #423 was a double deluxe.

11/05/2026: Unfortunately disappointing. Completely overpriced for what's offered. Far too expensive, and everything seems haphazard and cluttered rather than well-designed or inviting. Overall, I can't recommend it. We expected much more and wouldn't be coming back.

24/12/2025: Lots of nice items. Good prices.

30/12/2025: Plant buns and fries. Tastes great and you get more than enough for a low price. The fries are unfortunately pretty boring 🫣but it's not a place you go to eat but a place to eat where you've gone to shop for your home. So with that in mind it's quite excellent

19/09/2025: Unfortunately, fries are no longer served with the meatballs because it is too cumbersome for the employees.

04/06/2026: Here you get the best smørrebrød or Søcafeen's platter. Friendly service and a lovely area with a view of Tivoli Lake. Again this year we visited Søcafeen, it's nice to sit by the lake while enjoying the good food, which is very tasty.

02/06/2026: A magical day in Tivoli just got twenty percent better with a visit here! ⭐ From the moment we walked in, there was top service, smiles and the coziest table. 27/01/2026: Nice little place with good service and good pizzas.

12/01/2026: Perhaps the worst service I have ever experienced. We order some pizzas from Wolt, and since we can see that it constantly shows that it will be over an hour before delivery, we contact Wolt in order to cancel the order. In the meantime, we get a call from the pizzeria and are told that it is smarter if you order directly from them and not use Wolt.. why they are on Wolt at all is unclear. However, we end up agreeing to let them make the order for us and of course expect that they can do it faster when it is not through Wolt. We wait, and since we can see that it has not been faster at all, we decide to call and cancel the order permanently. This did not go down well with the otherwise nice pizza man, who now suddenly thought that it was our problem that they could not figure out how to deliver some pizzas neither through Wolt nor, apparently, directly through them. In the end, we got a few different bad words thrown at us on the way and I wished them a good evening.

30/05/2026: Cozy place on the hill 🌞 super nice staff and very service-minded 👍 there is a cozy atmosphere and plenty of space between the tables 👍 nice so you don't have to hear what they are talking about at the table next to you 👍 the food is good, perfect pork that is not too dry, as you often experience 😊 the sauce tasted fantastic 👍 can only recommend this place out on the hill, nice staff 👍 good food 👍 and at extremely reasonable prices 👍

23/05/2026: Went with a couple of friends at Laura's, where we had booked a table on Friday before our trip to Bakkens Hvile. We were met by a very sweet and service-oriented waiter. Before we knew it, we had our ordered drinks, and shortly after our food arrived. 3 large portions of fried pork and for the fourth two delicious appetizers, shrimp cocktail with LOTS of shrimp and a piece of parma ham. There were two of us who didn't need a refill of pork, while the last one just needed four more pieces. Delicious oven-roasted pork, new potatoes and parsley sauce. Lovely. We finished the meal with a good cup of coffee. During the entire meal, our sweet and smiling waitress was around us to make sure everything was ok. And she had a lovely sense of humor, so we played ping pong happily. You really should stick with the set waitress. Thank you for a lovely evening with you, which continued to be enjoyable at Bakkens Hvile.

04/07/2026: One of the men behind the bar said, “Are you stupid or what?” to my friend when she accidentally spilled her beer.

30/06/2026: There were five of us who were thrown out because one of us had a soda from outside. A little message to the owner - you can just take the soda next time, you don't have to take it and then come back and throw us out.

04/01/2026: Average noodles but for the second time I found a piece of plastic inside the food. This is not only a sign of low hygiene in the kitchen but also very dangerous to risk to eat a sharp piece of plastic!
