Sneezing Fruits

10/08/2026: A somewhat hidden coffee shop that turns out to be a gem. Tucked away in the courtyard of a former factory, Sneezing Fruit is one of Copenhagen's best cafes. They serve pastries from Københavns Bageri, which are equally excellent.
06/08/2026: Barely more than a hole in the wall and that’s exactly the point. Sneezing Fruits is a tiny, unpretentious café where the coffee is good, the staff are relaxed, and nobody’s in a hurry. Grab a spot, watch the Brygge go by, and settle in. Cool little place with real charm. Highly recommended if you like your cafés small and unfussy.

16/07/2026: Very cozy courtyard, incredibly friendly staff, super delicious and creative food and absolutely ok prices. All other restaurants had closed the kitchen at 8:40 but at Olivia they welcomed us with open arms. This is definitely the best restaurant in the village!

15/08/2026: Reasonably ok place, but I expected something more and better. It took an hour from when we were seated until the food came. It was just over the top. Got an ok ribeye steak. Asked for medium rare and it was well done. Meat was a little tough and maybe hook-ripened, as they write but I doubt it. Garnish was very sparse and the sauce a little tame in taste.

Had to draw attention to it when the bill was payed - so that made it an uforgettable visit 😇

12/09/2026: Absolutely fantastic place. The bakery makes the most delicious bread that you can't get anywhere else. Although you can buy morning bread directly from the bakery so it's completely fresh. Good service.

14/06/2026: Had a great evening sampling a huge variety of different beers of Danish and other European origin. The owner is knowledgeable and did double check that I wanted a certain style of beer because it's known to be a bit divisive.

Too often Michelin star restaurants disappoint, and one leaves thinking "Why do we still do this?" Not with The Samuel. Everything was pretty much impeccable, including great presentation of wines and cheeses, the quality of which is in a category of its own.
Thank you to everyone involved for giving our party of six a memorable experience.

06/04/2026: Just had a gluten free Napoli pizza which was good. It’s takeaway only and there are only two seats available, so be mindful of that if you’re visiting. Gluten free base was great and not a cracker as some places use pre baked bases. They do use the same oven to cook it (real wood burning) but they do sweep away debris prior baking to cooking. Will have cross contamination.
