14/02/2026: The kebab bone tastes rotten and is clearly not fresh.

14/11/2025: I have exclusively utilized the takeout service at this establishment. The pizzas consistently feature a well-crisped crust and fresh ingredients. It appears there has been a recent change in staff, so I advise a degree of patience. The owner typically prepares the pizzas. The staff members are very courteous. MobilePay or cash is the preferred payment method.

07/10/2025: Best BLT I have ever had and I am from the US. Bread was amazing, highest possible ingredients. Loved the bacon. Wish I lived closer and I would stop by daily for lunch.

27/09/2025: The fish and chips were delicious (great dill sauce). Had a lovely conversation with the friendly owner. Clean bathrooms. Cloth towels are a nice touch. But best of all was the Fru non-alcolic beer🍺 Best near beer I've ever tasted. Danish made. Tastes like a Belgian ale. Highly recommend this spot! 👍🏻👍🏻

24/03/2026: I ate here yesterday and then got REALLY SICK, Spent the whole night throwing up!!! Haven't eaten much today as I've been feeling sick since morning. Can still taste their kebab in my mouth after throwing up.. WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN!! ALSO STRONGLY ADVISE OTHERS FROM EATING HERE!!

10/10/2025: Just been there and it was so cool! I would definitely recommend this to you if you love being shocked. You are never quite sure what is happening and it is super fun. The scares are super good at making sure you are comfortable with what is happening and how you behave! It makes it clear where you are going next and what you are supposed to do where you are. I personally think it is super cool that there is a dialogue that you can participate in, it makes it feel much more real. There was one room that I loved extra much! It was a room with a lady sitting in an electric chair. But the part I liked the most was probably the one with the knife! He was all over you and it was a lot of fun to experience. It was especially fun when he was standing behind you and breathing down your neck. When the lights went out and I saw him coming over to me he said "don't worry, it's just me". I couldn't help but laugh there, it was seriously just so surprising that I didn't know how to react. Was there for Halloween Asylum hospital stuff!

15/07/2025: 3 stars because the food actually tasted OK. I've heard a lot of good things. The food was supposed to be really good and all in all just super good, but my experience is unfortunately different. As written, 3 stars because of the food which was OK, but stop how dull the service is that repeatedly "had to remind you of what you had ordered". This would NOT have happened in an area/city with real competition...

12/09/2025: Having only arrived in Haderslev about an hour after 4 hours of travelling we found CAFE MAD. As seems the norm with Danes in the day & a half we've been here the staff were pleasant, polite & welcoming. We had their version of good old fish & chips - it was gorgeous & plentiful, so much so that my partner had to leave some. We would recommend anyone visiting Haderslev to "hunt down" CAFE MAD - IT'S TOTALLY WORTH IT. THANK YOU TO YOU ALL. Darren & Dawn from the UK.

10/05/2026: Nice hotel with friendly staff. Unfortunately I had to wait 20 minutes to be able to check-in due to a line at the counter which was a first for me. The room was nice with a comfortable bed. The breakfast buffet was very nice with even "cut your own fresh herbs"

04/05/2026: It could have been perfect, but I had these downsides: 1. The room smelled like sewage. The shower drain emitted a foul odor. Filling it with water only helped for a few minutes. 2. The coffee machine shriveled the pods and only dispensed water. 3. Breakfast is served until 9:00 on weekdays. I find that too early. The breakfast is excellent. The dinner there is good. Tip: there is an outstanding Italian restaurant in the shopping street behind the hotel. Apart from those sewage problems, the room has excellent climate control.

06/12/2025: There was an animal in the salad on my pizza, I went down to complain about it and they accused me of bringing the animal into my food from my home and told me to get out. They were very threatening. STAY AWAY

04/10/2025: Genuinely the best Thai restaurant so far. Its not over-priced, the portion sizes will not leave you hungry, and it does not get more authentic than this! Panang, Pad Mii & Red Icetea and Icecoffee are highly recommended! Very worth the visit:)
